About AlphaLine
AlphaLine is a sports handicapping service built on one rule: if the record isn't public, it isn't real. Every play we release is tracked at the price we posted and graded whether it wins or loses.
We build our own number
Every game gets modeled independently — projected lineups, pitcher and pace inputs, rest, travel, injury-adjusted ratings. We do not start from the market number and nudge it.
We bet the gap, not the story
A play only goes on the card when our number and the available price disagree by enough to cover the vig with room to spare. If there's no gap, there's no pick, even on a marquee slate.
We post before the number moves
Picks go up with the exact price and book where we got it. Beating the closing line is the only proof of edge — if you can't beat the number, you can't beat the book.
We grade in public
Wins, losses, and pushes are posted permanently with unit results. Nothing is edited after the fact and nothing gets quietly removed.
What we will never do
- — Sell a "lock of the century" or guarantee a result.
- — Post a pick after the game has started.
- — Delete a losing play or restate a record.
- — Hide the price and book we used.
